This case houses more favors, including two cigarette lighters, definitely indicative of the excessive smoking of the time. One lighter is from King Felix III of 1965, and the other from the Maids of Mirth of 1952. The candle snuffer is also from times long lost, as well as the tin jiggers from the Sirens of 1935, and the silver jigger from the Strikers in 1963.
The necktie displayed here is the official necktie of Felix III, worn by all previous Felixes at their annual luncheon held on the Friday before Mardi Gras day. The former kings are pictured at their luncheon last year. The Mardi Gras colors of their tie: purple, green, and gold, stand for justice, faith and power.
